Hello!  My name is Wendy.  I am a stay at home wife and mom, and I have quite a few hobbies.  My top four are: travel, gardening, kindness rocks and sewing/embroidery.

I also have a medical alert service dog.  She is changing my life one day at a time, in a very pawsitive way.  🙂

My husband is Jim.  He is a disabled American Air Force Veteran.  He truly enjoys working with our Veterans helping them file their claims.  In his spare time, he enjoys gaming and watching movies and messing with his big cat, named Hoss.  I am the voice of Through Rainy Panes, and my husband is the brains.  🙂

For as long as I can remember, I have been one to volunteer, donate, and give of my time and energy to others.  I have often been called an empath, as I find it pretty easy to read people and realize if they are down or sad.  I realized at a pretty young age that making others smile is something that I truly enjoy doing.

I have been through so much in my lifetime that nobody should ever experience, that on my own from the age of 6, I have had to begin looking for the silver linings in my small world.  It is a difficult process at first, but once you begin looking for the positives in the negatives,  you will really surprise yourself!  Trust me, it is WAY easier to just be negative and down.  But I have learned that it is BETTER to be positive ~even through the storms.

The reason I love the name “Through Rainy Panes” is because when life happens, I think of a rainy gloomy day, when I am inside the house, looking out through the window.  Of course the window is foggy, and the raindrops are blurring my vision of the outside world.  I stand there watching more and more raindrops hit the window, and I am wondering when will the sun ever come out again.  And then I start looking for the positives.  Over time, I have realized that life can be good, even through the rainy panes of life.

Anyway, I decided to start this site, to spread what I have learned in the hopes that I reach at least one person and make them smile.   That would absolutely make my day.

We look forward to your stay.  Please come back often and visit.  I will be updating regularly.

Mission

To help others learn how to find their silver lining in the storms of life.

Vision

I am seeing more and more, that this world is turning into a very negative place. In my mind if I can make just a few people smile and change their mindset on things, it will in turn slowly make this world a better place.
